Bordentown, New Jersey, USA.

Raised in Bordentown, New Jersey, Ishod started skateboarding at an early age. He was an out and out sportsman from the get go, but at an early age started consolidating his other sports like basketball to focus solely on skateboarding - a move which definitely paid off. In 2009 he began to make a name for himself in the skate industry with regularly showing up at Tampa AM and his groundbreaking tricks like the switch fs bigspin down the famous Love Park fountain gap. Which resulted in getting picked up by Nike SB, Monster Energy, Real skateboards, Thunder and spitfire wheels.

Ishod’s big break came in 2011 with the famous video part in Real - Since Day One. This signified his move from amateur to professional skater. Two years later Wair won the Thrasher Skater of the Year award with his videoparts: The SB Chronicles Vol. 02, Chronicling Ishod: The Prequel, Fourstar's Wair 'N' Tear and Sabotage 3 Remix. These achievements launched Ishod’s career into the stratosphere and culminated in him receiving his own Nike SB Dunk colorway in 2016 which sold out instantly in skate shops world wide.

Ishod is one of the most influential street skateboarders in the world. He is as much a technical skater as he is a style icon - sitting in that much sought after space between skateboarding and street culture. He was admired by Virgil Abloh for many years and pulled in to model for Off White. He has a huge interest in photography and the creative scene and has been instrumental in the effective merging of skating and fashion.
